Music Educators
I spend a lot of time thinking about how what I'm up to as a music therapist is different from what music educators do. There's a lot of overlap, but crucial differences. Jeffrey Agrell over on Horn Insights, in today's post offers this formulation for what educators are up to:
>> Musical training is about immaculate recitation.<<
This blog is a place for me to archive, organize and comment on collected links having to do with music and music therapy. Starting in 2024 I'm also using it to post pics of activities at the Music Room. Contact: lylesan at aol dot com.
Comments are welcome, but will not show up immediately. Moderation is turned on so I'll see comments to any post on the blog without having to scroll through them all.
If you just want to send an email comment, I'll go through the comment rigamarole and post it for you.
